A couple of articles ago we showed you how to install a dual flush valve in your toilet. In a follow up article we showed you how to adjust the flush tank levels of your toilet. Continuing on, this week we will provide you with the instructions on how to adjust the toilet refill level.

Inside the tank your toilet you will find a refill tube, this refill tube is what connects both valve assemblies. On that tube you will find a roller clamp which is what is used to adjust the level of water found in the toilet bowl. On that clamp there should be a series of numbers (the range of numbers may depend on the manufacture). To adjust the toilet refill level simply roll the roller part of the clamp. The numbers on the clamp indicate the water level. Move the roller towards the higher numbers to increase the toilet refill level or move the roller towards the lower numbers if you wish to decrease the toilet refill level. You can test each adjustment with a flush and readjust until you have reached your desired level of water in the bowl of your toilet.
