Pot Filler

Today’s residential kitchen design trends are following along with what has been trending in commecial kitchens for years now. One example of this would be the trend of a pot filler. A pot filler is a faucet that has a very long neck which is usually found beside your cooktop allowing you to easily fill large pots directly from the cooktop. A benefit of this would be not having to fill a large pot full of water at your sink and then lug the heavy pot across the kitchen to your cooktop.

Most often you will find the pot filler mounted to the wall but you can find some models that are horizontally mounted. Regardless of the type of unit you find it will most likely be setup to only dispense cold water. There are also various bells and whistles that you can find to customize the pot filler to your needs. For example you can find some units that have two valves, one at the wall and another at the spout and you can even find models that come equipped with a foot pedal allowing the dispenser to be activated with hands-free.
